Responsible travel and tourism in Morocco
Travel to Morocco in an alternative way
If you want to know Morocco with your family, partner or friends, and you want to do it in a different way than usual, leaving the most touristy. If you want to make an alternative trip to Morocco, live with local families or stay in hotels run by Moroccans. If you want to get to know the local culture, whether Arab, Berber or Amazigh, or the nomads of the Sahara, and at the same time contribute to small development projects with your trip, this is the place for you.
You will discover the route of the Kasbahs, and you will see firsthand the difference between a kasbah restored for tourism, and another restored for its people. You will be carried away by the streets of World Heritage cities such as Marrakech or Fez. You will reach the highest mountains of the Atlas, and live with its Amazigh population, away from the noise, the hustle and bustle and the rush. And you will also be able to enter the different deserts, from the most famous Merzouga, to the most virgin, silent and alternative dunes where few people arrive.
In Trip to Help we work with guides, accommodations and communities in Morocco that make sure you have an incredible experience, and also that your trip has a tangible return in the territory. Surely you compare, surely you see that there are thousands of ways to go to Morocco, and many of them include, in some way, a solidarity action. In Trip to Help we go beyond charity actions, where it’s all about bringing clothes, books, toys or medicines. We focus on long-term development, contributing to projects focused on education, women’s empowerment and local economic development .
