What will we do during the 4-day Safari?

In these 4 days of solidarity & sustainable safari with Maasais in Kenya we will be able to see the must-sees of the Lemek Conservancy. This is an area belonging to the Masai Mara with a great added value: it is an area inhabited and managed by the Masai community, where they live in total harmony with the wildlife. Here there is no separation between the safari area and the area where the community lives, and also, not being a tourist area, the animals live much quieter. In fact, there are times of the year when they migrate to this area, fleeing the crowds of tourists in the National Reserve area.

Advantages of going on safari in Lemek Conservancy (Maasai Mara)

This is one of the big differences with a conventional safari. Here you can, with your Maasai guides, be very close to the animals, and repeat as many times as you want, since you will be right there. There are no set hours, you can watch sunsets, walk through the savannah, return in the evening, or return to rest and later continue. From the camp, you will be 20 minutes by 4×4 to see the wildest nature.

How our trip has a positive return in the local community

In 4 days of sustainable safari, besides enjoying the best company, eating exquisite food with local and sustainable recipes, we will be contributing to the entire Maasai community, since everything you invest in your adventure will go to them through the NGO with which we collaborate with in Trip To Help. With your trip, you will be helping the schooling of hundreds of children, as well as vocational training and women’s empowerment programs for the women of the area. You will get to know first hand all the projects that the NGO has, and you will be able to see their educational center which is located next to our lodging.

This way, you can travel and help at the same time. While on a 4-day solidarity & sustainable safari in Kenya with all the comforts, you will be leaving a positive footprint in the area. In addition, you will be surprised by the tranquility and the low volume of tourists in this area, which can only be visited by those who stay here, and for this, they must contribute to the Maasai community.

4 days of safari in sustainable in Kenya, with Maasai, for those who do not have many days, but do not want to give up a real experience, real, authentic and with positive impact.

Day 1

Nairobi - Masai Mara

Our driver will pick us up in Nairobi and we will drive to the Masai Mara across the Rift Valley, one of the most beautiful areas of Kenya. We will take the opportunity to stop and take some pictures at a spectacular viewpoint in the middle of the road. Depending on the time of departure we will arrive at the lodge for lunch. We will leave our things and in the afternoon we will do our first activity: we will see a couple of rhinoceroses that are protected and guarded because they are in danger of extinction.

    Day 2

We visit the NGO's social projects and go on safari in the afternoon.

In the morning we will visit the social projects, such as the school and the Manyatta where we will meet women who were expelled from their families for different reasons and that the NGO is supporting. After seeing where they live, and being able to enter some of the houses, we will see the handicraft market that they have prepared for us. Any purchase we make goes entirely to each woman, without intermediaries or commissions, so that by buying their handicrafts we will be helping them with their daily expenses. Of course, there is no obligation to buy. After lunch, we will go on safari again until it gets dark. We will watch the sunset from the Masai Mara, a unique experience that most tourists will not be able to experience.

      Day 3

      All-day safari

Today we will go on safari, all day. We will take the opportunity to see all the animals we have yet to see, such as elephants, lions, cheetahs, hippopotamus, zebras and buffaloes. We will have lunch in the middle of the Masai Mara under a tree that will allow us to rest and observe the fantastic natural environment in which we are. Another unforgettable, postcard-perfect experience.

        Day 4

        Walking Safari

On our last day, we will get up very early to go for a walk in the African savannah. During the excursion we will enter the savannah in the company of our Maasai warriors. 2-3 hours later, breakfast will be waiting for us in the middle of the savannah. We will drive back to the camp in the 4x4 car to return to Nairobi.
