This 10-day trip to Tanzania and Zanzibar offers exceptional value for your money.
Our journey begins in the Kilimanjaro region, starting at Kilimanjaro Airport, near the Arusha region. Upon arrival, our guide will meet us and take us to Momella, a rural area where we can relax and unwind after our flight. Here, you’ll experience the authentic side of Tanzania, away from the usual tourist spots, and have the chance to visit the projects supported by the NGO we collaborate with—projects that receive the majority of your trip’s cost.
Depending on our arrival time, we may have more or less time to visit the schools, orphanage, and medical center, and to interact with the teachers and children. This unforgettable experience will add even greater meaning to our Tanzania and Zanzibar 10 days trip. The project we support has been providing medical care, education from early childhood through secondary school, and professional development to the local community for years. If you’d like to explore the project in greater depth and see the full impact of your contribution, you can extend your stay by an extra day to take your time.
If you choose to do so, you might also have the opportunity to visit a sacred Maasai mountain, guided by Maasai warriors who will share the significance of the site, the rituals performed there, and insights into their culture. Extending your stay is optional—just let us know if you’re interested, and we’ll provide the details and costs! This option can enhance your Tanzania and Zanzibar 10 days experience even further.
After spending the first two nights in Momella, we’ll embark on a 3-day safari as part of our Tanzania and Zanzibar 10 days journey, with our guide and private vehicle. This adventure will take us through Tarangire National Park, Lake Manyara, and the famous Ngorongoro Crater. Our exploration of nature begins here, where you’ll witness incredible wildlife in their natural habitat. Prepare to be captivated by elephants, giraffes, wildebeests, buffaloes, lions, and zebras. During the safari, you have the option to stay in either camping or lodge-style accommodation. Meals (full board) and water are included throughout the safari, making this a memorable highlight of your Tanzania and Zanzibar 10 days experience.
This trip to Tanzania and Zanzibar includes in its price sleeping in camping, (the price indicated in this tour). The lodge type lodging has an small price increase that you can consult us without obligation. Neither option is better or worse than the other, it all depends on the type of trip you want to live or the experience you want to have. The prices for this 10-day trip to Tanzania and Zanzibar are always as low as possible.
In Zanzibar, we will spend two nights in a 4-star hotel in Stone Town, where we will take the opportunity to get to know a city that has been declared a “Unesco World Heritage Site”. Once we finish our stay in Stone Town, a driver will take us to a beautiful hotel in Jambiani, where we will spend our last days of beach and relax in front of the beach. The hotel, a sustainable resort that takes care of even the smallest detail to protect the environment (its cabins even have a special natural paint that keeps the temperature cool to minimize the use of electrical ventilation systems)! This spectacular accommodation is located in front of the beach and has two outdoor swimming pools that will captivate you (one of them is below).
This 10-day trip to Tanzania and Zanzibar has an incredible price and is ideal for those who do not have many days but want to disconnect from the day to day and enjoy both the wild nature with a safari and a few days on the beach at your leisure. It is a customizable trip that can be extended or modified according to our interests.

Today, we will be able to visit the projects of the NGO that we have yet to see. We will be in a rural environment, near the Arusha National Park, but far away from the tourist circuits. From the NGO's orphanage, where the children will welcome us to tell us how they live there, to the medical center or the women's textile workshop. This visit, with a private guide, lasts all day, and in the afternoon, if there is time, we can play with the boys and girls from the orphanage. In the evening, we will return to our accommodation for dinner and prepare for the safari.
Today we start our safari in one of the most important national parks in Tanzania: Tarangire National Park. During the day, we will be able to start seeing the animals living in freedom inside the park and thanks to our private guide we will be able to set the pace of the safari. Possibility to sleep in camping or in a lodge. If it is camping, we will go with a cook, who will cook for us every day and our guide and another member of the team will set up the tents. You sleep on a small mattress. Full board accommodation
Today we will visit one of the most spectacular places in Africa, the Ngorongoro Crater. The crater is 610 metres deep, about 260 square kilometres in size and was formed 2 to 3 million years ago when it exploded and collapsed in on itself. It was voted one of the Seven Natural Wonders of Africa, and today thousands of animals live in total freedom and harmony, including the Big Five. Walking down the walls of the volcano and going on a safari inside the crater is undoubtedly one of the most unique experiences in the world. In the afternoon, we will go to the really nice camp area in Ngorongoro. Full board accommodation
Today we visited Lake Manyara, one of our favourite places to see animals in the wild. Being a small park with a lake inside, it is relatively easy to see animals close to our car. We will enjoy a full morning game drive, have lunch inside the park and after lunch we will start our drive to Arusha Airport where we will take our flight to Zanzibar. (Flight not included)
Today we will spend the whole day visiting the capital of Zanzibar. We will be able to get lost in its streets, go into its painting and textile shops or stroll through its market and buy some of the spices so typical of this island. If you are fans of Freddie Mercury and Queen in general, you will know that the Queen singer was born in Zanzibar. That's why the city dedicates a museum to him in the centre of town, which you can visit after buying a ticket. Accommodation includes breakfast but full board is available on request.
Today we are moving again to one of our favourite hotels. An eco-resort in front of the sea with a relaxed atmosphere and an ethnic yet modern decor, where we can relax, read and enjoy its two swimming pools. The transfer between the two hotels is included in the price. Accommodation includes breakfast but full board is available.
Today we will have the whole day to enjoy our village and its beaches, or our accommodation, whatever our body desires. If we want, we can book activities, such as the blue safari to see dolphins and sandbanks, or rent a motorbike or a car and discover this wonderful island. Ask us if you want us to advise you where to go, what to see, what is more touristy or what is more alternative, etc.Accommodation includes breakfast but full board is available.
Today is our last day in Tanzania, and if we have not yet moved to other places on the island, it will be our last chance to go, for example, to Mtende Beach and eat a lobster in front of the sea. To get there, we will have to either hire a taxi or rent a motorbike. At Trip to Help, we will give you the necessary information so that you can hire or book the motorbike in advance.Accommodation includes breakfast but full board is available.
Our last breakfast in Jambiani, and our last hours on the island. Our driver will take us to Zanzibar Airport at the agreed time.
