In this 3-day private safari we will visit the Tanzanian national parks closest to Kilimanjaro: Tarangire, Lake Manyara and the Ngorongoro Crater.
Our local guides from the NGO we work with in Tanzania will pick us up and take us to the first park: Tarangire. There we will see our first elephants, zebras, giraffes and with a little luck lions, cheetahs and some leopards.
The next day, in Manyara we will enjoy nature more closely, as it is a smaller park, and the animals pass by us much closer than in other parks.
On the third day we will visit the famous Ngorongoro Crater, considered a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most spectacular parks in Africa. A place where you will be able to see an infinity of animals of different species living in total harmony.
At the end of the tour, the guide will drop us off at the agreed point, either the airport or another place from where we want to continue our trip.
Remember that this 3-day solidarity and private safari in Tanzania is managed by the NGO Africa Amini Alama. What does this mean? It means that the benefits go to the education and health projects that the NGO has in Momella and that you can visit through Trip to Help in other available experiences. If you are going to do a safari, a unique experience in which you are going to invest some money, do it in a way that has a positive impact, contributing to the territory you are visiting.

On the first day of the safari we will visit the Tarangire National Park, which covers an area of 325km2 between Arusha and Lake Manyara. In this park we will be able to see the first animals in the wild such as elephants, zebras and Thomson's Gazelles. With a bit of luck we will also see some of the world's most imposing predators such as lions, leopards and hyenas. In the evening we will stay at a camp in Tarangire, or at the Tarangire Safari Lodge, a hotel also located in the park, depending on which option we choose. From both we will be able to enjoy the sunset views of the park while having a drink or coffee.
We got up for breakfast and later visited Lake Manyara, located very close to Tarangire. This smaller park sometimes has fewer tourists than other parks, which allows us to see the animals in a more relaxed way and, moreover, at closer quarters. With a bit of luck we will be able to see the elephants and giraffes a couple of metres away. At the end of the day, we will stay at a camp near Ngorongoro, or at the Ngorongoro Farm House, depending on what we have chosen.
We get up and drive down to Ngorongoro Crater, one of the most spectacular parks in Tanzania. Ngorongoro is the crater of a volcano that erupted thousands of years ago. Over time a variety of species began to arrive and it is now one of the most important ecosystems in the world. Strolling through the crater and seeing the walls surrounding it and the animals living in harmony will leave you speechless. If we also see one of the most difficult to see Big Five, the Rhinoceros, it will be the perfect end to our safari.
