WHO IS BEHIND THIS PROJECT
We are Raquel and Xavi, travelers and now travel curators of each of the Trip to Help experiences. Everything we tell you here and invite you to experience, we have breathed it in first person.
After many years of traveling, with more than 30 countries traveled, we are increasingly aware of how superficial and even harmful a trip can be if we do not pay attention to the who, the how, the why and the what for. That is why we created Trip to Help, to travel with awareness, and with a sustainable look that lets you know that your trip makes sense, for you, and for those who show you everything that, when you return, you remember with a smile.

“Traveling heals, teaches, exercises the body and mind, reorders priorities, remembers values, broadens tolerance and reduces needs. At any time of your life: travel.”

OUR PHILOSOPHY
“A journey makes us grow only if we reach the authentic and natural side of the territory we step on, the intrinsic of each place, from the hand of those who live it, cultivate it and work it: the locals.”
Trip to Help was born out of curiosity. From feeling that the more we nurture our nomadic side, the more in tune and in balance we are with ourselves, with others, and with nature. It was born from discovering, in thousands of apparently unconnected, distant and very diverse corners, something in common: that traveling is a privilege, and that if we do it, it is only fair that we contribute wherever we go.
Traveling the world is a luxury, and we must not forget that all our travels have a negative impact. But how many of them have a positive one?
For us, all journeys should have it.
Now you tell us: will yours have it?

In 2024, Trip to Help wins the first responsible tourism award in Africa: WTM Awards, in the category“Championing Cultural Diversity” . It was the only non-African company to win the award.
This award recognizes Trip to Help’s impact on sustainability, preservation and creation of cultural bridges in a respectful way, and its business model based on the green and regenerative economy, with pillars such as cooperation, welfare and social justice.
