This Luxury Safari in Kenya is designed for travelers looking for exclusivity while making a positive impact on the destination. It is recommended for:
The trip is divided into two parts, the safari in masai mara and a relaxing beach escape.
During the first four days of luxury safari in Kenya, we will stay in a exclusive Boutique Camp of only four tents offering privacy and comfort in the heart of nature. These days we will combine safaris in the Mara National Reserve and
safaris within the private conservation area where we are staying.
We will also have the opportunity to learn about impactful social projects, such as a local elementary school that has grown to support over 100 students in just two years, and gain a deeper understanding of authentic Maasai life, away from the typical tourist circuits.
This luxury safari in the Masai Mara is perfect for honeymooners, couples, or families seeking an exclusive and beautiful place that combines comfort, adventure, and a meaningful commitment to responsible travel in the Global South.
The second part ff this luxury safari will be spent on the island of Lamu or on one of the most famous beaches in Kenya: Diani Beach. In both cases, we will have to take a short flight.
Since this safari is exclusively designed by Trip to Help, we offer the flexibility to tailor the experience and adjust the destination based on the traveler’s preferences.
To summarize a little, Diani Beach is a more touristy coastal area, and Lamu is a less touristy island where local life blends naturally with tourism.
Whichever you choose, we have stunning luxury hotels right by the sea, ensuring an unforgettable stay. 😊🌴
In the Masai Mara, we will be staying in a private conservation area, meaning that only guests of this luxury lodge have access—no outside vehicles are allowed. This exclusivity ensures that the safaris and activities within the conservation area are private and intimate, offering a truly unique experience.
However, some activities (except if you are in a honeymoon) may be shared with other guests staying at the lodge, adding to the sense of community while maintaining a personalized and exclusive safari experience.
In the coast, we can stay in several hotels, in Diani beach we work mainly in two categories of hotels. One more young and modern and the other more luxurious and a little more classic.
In Lamu, we have several accommodation options, but the one that best matches the expectations of travelers looking for a luxury safari experience is:
The price of the trip varies depending on the season and the chosen hotel. In any case, here is a list of approximate and non-binding prices :

We will pick you up at Siana Airport, in the Masai Mara, and take you to an exclusive lodge nestled in the breathtaking Ololasurai Valley, home to an elephant corridor that connects the reserve with Olarro Plains and the Loita Hills forests.
After settling in and enjoying lunch, you can explore the River Trail, a scenic path surrounded by centuries-old trees that the Maasai use in ceremonies and for natural medicine. If you’re in the mood, you can also take a refreshing dip in a natural outdoor shower.
Upon returning, our vehicle will be ready for a safari in the conservation area. As night falls, we’ll enjoy sundowners while watching the sunset in the heart of nature.
There is no better way to begin a Luxury Safari in Kenya than with a private night safari in a Maasai-owned conservation area.
On our second day, we will embark on a safari in the Masai Mara National Reserve. To make the most of the experience, we’ll start early with a coffee at the camp before heading out at 6 a.m. towards the reserve (a 45-minute drive).
Accompanied by our Maasai guide, we’ll explore one of the world’s most iconic safari destinations, the Mara National Reserve, in search of the Big Five. Mid-morning, we’ll stop to enjoy breakfast in the heart of nature, and at midday, we’ll take a break for a picnic in a breathtaking setting.
We’ll return to the camp in the late afternoon, between 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m., after an unforgettable day exploring the Masai Mara.
Before dinner, we’ll gather around the campfire to share stories, learn more about Maasai culture, and exchange experiences with the local community—the perfect time to enjoy authentic Maasai storytelling!
We start the day with a hearty breakfast at the camp before heading out on a walking safari. Accompanied by our Maasai guide and tracker, along with a ranger-scout from the conservation area, we’ll learn tracking techniques and discover the Small Five, the tiny yet fascinating creatures of the savannah. We’ll also follow elephant migration routes, and if you prefer, you can choose a vehicle safari early in the morning before breakfast.
In the afternoon, we’ll walk to a Maasai settlement in the Ololasurai Valley to experience their traditions, culture, and way of life up close. This will be a unique opportunity to interact with the local community, learn about their daily lives, challenges, and customs, and even visit the local school, sharing a special moment with the children.
After the visit, we’ll return to the camp with a scenic safari en route, just in time to enjoy a traditional dinner and end the day in the best way possible.
Today, we have another exciting safari day ahead, exploring even more fascinating corners of the Maasai Mara National Reserve. We’ll make the most of the day by venturing into new areas of the reserve, enjoying breakfast and lunch in the heart of the savannah.
We may visit the Talek area, explore the banks of the Sand River, traverse the vast open plains of the central Mara, or venture into its most secluded spots, where wildlife thrives undisturbed.
By mid-afternoon, around 5:00 PM, we’ll return to the camp to relax and enjoy a fireside chat, sharing stories of the day’s adventures. Finally, we’ll end the day with a delicious dinner and a peaceful night at the camp.
After an unforgettable safari in the Maasai Mara, we head to the coast for some well-deserved relaxation on Lamu Island or Diani Beach, two of Kenya’s most breathtaking destinations.
Upon arrival at our luxury beachfront accommodation, you’ll be able to unwind and soak in the serene atmosphere. The day will be all about rest and relaxation, whether it’s exploring the surroundings, taking a walk along the beach, or simply enjoying the stunning coastal scenery.
These final days at the beach will be all about soaking in the breathtaking beaches and sunsets. Depending on whether we’re in Lamu or Diani Beach, there will be different activities to enjoy.
For instance, in Lamu, we’ll take a stroll along the pristine beach near Shela, where we’ll witness one of the most stunning sunsets in Kenya. This area is far from the typical tourist crowds, offering the perfect peaceful retreat to unwind and enjoy the natural beauty around us.
Whether you prefer relaxing by the sea or exploring the local culture, these last days will be the perfect way to end your luxury safari in Kenya.
On our final day in this stunning destination, we’ll enjoy one last breakfast by the sea, taking in the beauty of the surroundings. After a relaxing morning, we’ll pack our bags and get ready to depart.
We’ll take a flight (not included in the price) to Nairobi, where we’ll catch our international flight back home (also not included in the price). It’s the perfect way to end this unforgettable luxury safari experience in Kenya, carrying with us memories of adventure, culture, and natural beauty
